What's Up @Errington June 10th to 14th

Dear Errington Eagle Families,

Way to Go Errington! We had a super successful Bike to School Week!  The weather was not great on Monday, but many students still got their bikes out.  The numbers haven’t been tallied yet, but there were lots of trips by bike and we had a great turn-out for the Parade this morning!  Let’s keep it going until the end of June, less cars is fantastic!

We hope there will be a great turn out for our Primary Connect Concert on Monday morning.  The students are excited to share their gratitude for all that you do for them!

Thursday afternoon the Intermediate Band Students will be performing in a Concert starting at 1:30p.  Please come and enjoy the celebration of music that students have been learning all year!

SPORTS DAY is on Friday!  We are finalizing the Colour Teams and Classroom Teachers will be sharing the Colour Team for each of the students on Monday.  The forecast looks good for Friday, but keep your fingers crossed.  Parents will have refreshments and Pizza available, and Ms. Waugh will have treats for sale as fundraisers.  Please come out and enjoy the day with us.  Students are free to go home when the activities wrap-up around 2:00p.

I would like to encourage families to do their best to continue to keep their healthy bedtime and nutrition routines in place in these last few weeks of school.  There is still lots of key learning happening and well rested students do much better!  It’s hard with the evening sunshine and warmer temps, but important so that we can all finish the year strongly!

Have a great weekend!

Be safe, be active and get outside!

Regards,
