What's Up @Errington June 17th to 21st

Dear Errington Eagle Families,

Well it certainly was not the ending to the week that we were all looking forward to.  Hopefully the decision to postpone our Sports Day will result in a wonderful day of celebration and fun in the SUN next Friday!

Despite the disappointment today we did have some real highlights this week.  The Parent Appreciation Assembly on Monday was wonderful.  The student performances brought out a few tears, they were very touching.  And then on Thursday afternoon the Grade 5/6/7 band students performed for parents and the whole school.  It was a powerful performance and it was impressive to hear how far the students have come since September.  We are looking forward to more performances next year!

We have two important assemblies on June 24th and 26th and we will be welcoming parents and family to the school again.  I need to remind anyone who is driving to the school that there is limited parking around the Traffic Circle and that the lanes beside the school are no stopping zones.  Please make plans to park and walk to the school so that we remain good neighbours!  It would dampen the positive end to the year if families received bylaw tickets for parking violations.

I hope everyone has a restful weekend in preparation for the final two weeks.  The days are flying by and there is lots going on.

Make the most of the windows of sunshine!

Be safe, be active and get outside!

Regards,
