Dear Errington Eagle Families,

We have reached the halfway point of the school year! It’s hard to believe and so much has been accomplished all at the same time.  I am excited to see how each of our students will learn and grow in the next 5 months.

We are hoping that many families will be able to join us for the exciting Lunar New Year Raffle Assembly on Friday this coming week.  The event begins at 1:45p and parents are welcome to join us, you never know if your family will be winners!  Thank you to everyone that is able to support this unique Errington Tradition.

Please note the following opportunities from the City of Richmond:

City of Richmond – Sensory Swims: The city is offering new, inclusive swims for those who experience sensory sensitivity and may be on the autism spectrum, have anxiety or sensory sensitivity, and for families wanting a supportive environment with reduced noise. Please share this digital card with school communities through usual communication channels.

City of Richmond – Children’s Art Festival: The City is hosting the 15th annual festival on Family Day. This digital card can be shared with school communities through usual communication channels.

Today was an exciting day as we have welcomed over 50 new students to the Errington Community for the 2024-2025 School Year, many are Kindergarten students excited to be starting their learning journey with us.  We will look forward to meeting many of these children through the Springtime and seeing them in classrooms next September!

I hope you will make the most of the weekend ahead!

Be safe, be active and get outside!

Regards,

Andrew Ferguson (he/him/his)
