Dear Errington Eagle Families,

We have had a very wintery start to the 2^nd term!  The sunshine and snow make it beautiful if cold outside these days.  Please remember that we intend to get outside several times during the day at school and students need to come prepared with layers and clothing to manage the weather.  In rare situations we are given direction from the Medical Officer with Vancouver Coastal Health to alter our outside times. 

January marks the start of our Basketball season and the interested Grade 6/7 students are getting organized.  The teams are going to be coached by: Mr. Greaves, Ms. Pan, Mr. Huang, Ms. Cheng and Ms. Livingston.  It is a big commitment and we all appreciate the effort and time that they volunteer for the students!

The School District has a Multifaith Society calendar available electronically, simply click on this link SD38-Multifaith Society Calendar.  When you place your cursor on the dates in the calendar brief information on practices, holy days and observances will pop up for quick reference and understanding.

Attached to today’s email is a flyer announcing a webinar for Reconciliation, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.  Please consider registering for one of the 60 minute sessions and learn about these important ideas in our school district.
