Dear Errington Eagle Families,

It is hard to believe, but YES the calendar turns to March at the end of this coming week.

We had a great day of activity today wrapping up our Jump Rope for Heart Campaign.  Each of our classes spent time in the gym working on their jump rope skills and showing off what they have learned.  The importance of being active for heart health cannot be over estimated and healthy habits are best developed when we are young!

Speaking of being active, this Tuesday to Thursday is the annual Steveston London Basketball Tournament for Grade 6/7 Teams.  Good Luck to the players and coaches of both our teams as they prepare to match up against the other Elementary Schools who feed into SLSS. Go Eagles!

Thank you to our parent team that put together the Pizza Lunch day this past Thursday, they literally had a mountain of pizza boxes to sort and deliver!

Pink Shirt Day for Friendship and Anti-Bullying is on this coming Wednesday, February 28th.  Wear whatever pink clothing items that you have and show your Friendship Spirit!  We are hosting a short assembly at 9:00a on Wednesday morning and parents are welcome to join us.

Please remember that TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27th is early dismissal for Learning Update Conversations.  Make sure that you know when you are scheduled to meet your child(ren)’s teacher! I look forward to seeing many families in the school over the coming days!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Be safe, be active and get outside!

Regards,

Andrew Ferguson (he/him/his)
